Frequently Asked Questions

How much do websites cost?

Each website is quoted on an individual basis. Pricing is based on the forecasted time needed to design and develop your website.

In addition to design and development time, project management time, custom graphic design, the amount of content (photos and written), the number of pages and other factors impact pricing.

What is the process?

Step 1: Kick Off call with your Account Manager.
Step 2: Initial Site Build – 3-5 weeks for most sites
Step 3: Site Review and a round of revisions if needed.
Step 4: Site Goes Live
Ongoing: US Based Account Manager Support

How many pages do I need?

This is determined by how many different locations you want on website.

Your number of pages will be determined by the size of the business section of your website. You can have a single location or multiple locations that are separated by categories or individual pages.

You can also easily add additional pages (“About Us,” “Our Process,” etc.) Our designers can help you decide!

What do I need for photos?

Photos can make a website, so of course, high-quality photos are the best. If you don’t have professional (or high quality) photos, iPhone photos can definitely work. Our designers have layouts for all types of photo sizes and quality. In other words, we will make what you have work. Occasionally, a newer care home doesn’t have photos of their home, and in this case we use third party professional photography as a placeholder to start. Our designers will explain your options and help you to make this happen.

How much work is this for me? What do I need to do?

Your Account Manager’s job is to make this easy for you. You will need to submit photos, a logo (if you have one) and any written material you want on your website. Your Account Manager will assist you all the way. Our design team will take it from there. Then you will just need to give some input in the form of edits or changes and your Account Manager will make it happen.

I am thinking of trying to do it myself or hiring a freelancer

We rescue clients all the time who have tried DIY or had websites done by a freelancer.

Sometimes they can make the website look good, but they usually fall short in three or four areas:

  1. SEO. Most freelancers don’t know how do it (or they neglect the technicalities of getting a site properly built to appear to Google and the other search engines).

  2. Mobile Friendly. Many freelancers overlook the technicalities behind mobile development. Today, over 2/3 of your website’s traffic will be on phones or tablets and that’s a technical piece that we provide as well.

  3. Ongoing long-term support. Whether it’s six weeks, six months or 16 months down the road, your site will need to be updated. Technology changes quickly and your website needs oversight and ongoing management. Having a professional firm overseeing your website is key.

  4. Changes and edits. Your website is a work in progress and should be updated as you add new projects. You’ll have access to an Account Manager who will get any changes or add ons done easily.
